"Mendiani" is based on a traditional Maninka girls dance from the Hamana region of Guinea, West Africa. The dance is often performed at weddings. Arranged and performed by Duende Libre featuring Thione Diop (tama and djembe) and guest dancers Dora Oliveira, Anna Matuszewski, and Maurice Caldwell.
