LOST MEDIA FOUND! The 1996 Space Ghost Coast To Coast Syndicated FOX Special

Описание: Here's the intro to the obscure and once lost Space Ghost Coast To Coast syndicated FOX special, recorded from my TV with my cell phone because I don't yet have any sort of capture hardware... maybe next time I get a Twitch payout I'll try and get something if I can afford it.

The special aired on local FOX affiliates at some point in 1996 that could likely be sleuthed better by people once I'm able to get it up with the commercials and whatnot intact. Space Ghost introduces it as "an hour of all-new comedy," but the running gag ends up being that it's mostly just a few cheap new bumper segments of him complaining that his "spaceship full of cash" he was promised has yet to show up wrapped around a few existing episodes, among them being "Jerk" and "Bat-Mantis."

Apparently this was so obscure that when I asked about it on the Lost Media Wiki Discord, I was told they'd only heard mention of it a single time on some Yahoo or Google discussion group page and had written it off as a hoax or somebody misremembering. It took hours of going through old VHS tapes of varying age and quality, but I'm super excited to have become a part of animation preservation history, even if it's for a dorky mashup special nobody's heard of.
