Hello and welcome to A Simpler Life, a place where I share everything I've learnt since embracing the slow living movement in every aspect of my life.
My name is Alessandra and I'm a mom to 6 kids.
I enjoy taking you along with our life here at the Honey and Lavender Cottage, in the countryside!
Few years ago, I decided to cut off all the extras in our lives; possessions, busy schedules, places to be etc... and tuned in with our inner selves instead.
I started to focus on living more intentionally, enjoying the littlest of the things, paying attention and honoring my body and soul's needs.

I also started to eliminate anything toxic and chemical from our body care and foods and I'm a firm believer of the miracle just these simple changes bring to our health, on a physical and mental level.
