Описание: A shocking incident has emerged from Shamli District Hospital in Uttar Pradesh, where a ward boy was caught on CCTV stealing jewelry from a deceased woman’s body awaiting post-mortem. The video has gone viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage.

The deceased, identified as 26-year-old Shweta, wife of Sachin Kumar from Hiranwada village in Babri area, had died in a road accident. Her body was brought to the District Joint Hospital for an autopsy. CCTV footage shows a man, believed to be a ward boy, removing earrings from the body after covering it with a sheet and clearing the area.

When female police personnel from Babri police station arrived to inspect the body, they noticed the missing gold earrings. The family had already raised suspicion about the missing jewelry. The ward boy later handed over the earrings to police, claiming they had fallen. However, police reviewed the CCTV footage, which clearly showed the act of theft.

After the incident came to light, the ward boy fled and is currently absconding. A formal complaint has been lodged by the deceased's husband, Sachin, at Adarsh Mandi police station. Police have launched an investigation and a search is on to trace the accused.
