Gold Coast theme parks are unveiling new attractions for the summer school holidays, including the refurbished Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster at Movie World after being closed since 2023, the 27-metre King Claw at Dream World, four new water slides at Wet n' Wild, and a new dolphin show at SeaWorld. The parks are expecting bumper crowds during the Christmas holiday period and some are extending their opening hours to accommodate increased visitor numbers.
