This decision comes after the departure of Nitish Kumar, who is moving to the central government after leading Bihar for many years.

Now, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will formally elect Samrat Choudhary as its leader in the Vidhan Sabha.

The new government aims to speed up development in Bihar over the next five years under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The party also praised the work of state president Dilip Jaiswal for strengthening BJP in the state.
