After moving to Georgia a few months ago, I heard about the Smokey Mountain 500, an awesome adventure route circling around the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, and picked a weekend for my riding buddies and I to do it!
It was our first camping adventure together, and my first time camping off of my new-to-me 2022 Tenere 700.
We did the southern portion of the red and green routes.
Heavy rain towards the end turned our campsites into mud puddles, so we decided to head back home from Ellijay rather than sleeping outside in the rain.
Overall a great adventure, and I can't wait to do the rest of it!
