Today we docked in Skagen, Denmark, the most northerly point of Denmark on the 11th day of our epic cruise. This was our last port before arriving back in the UK and we were not expecting a lot from today. Skagen is a very small town, with a population of only 8,000 people, and no outstanding features. However, we all did enjoy our day in Skagen, either exploring or shopping, and I particularly enjoyed the beach walk exploring the WW2 Bunkers.
We were informed locally that Skagen is the 2nd most visited destination in Denmark, after Copenhagen, with over 2 million visitors annually!
