Skiing the 2nd Notch at Arapahoe Basin off the East Wall.
This run is truly extreme, and requires a down-climb using a rope (installed by patrol) most of the time. Putting your skis or board on after the down/climb is the hardest part as there is not a large shelf to put your skis on.
This run is a true no-fall zone, especially at the top. Loosing a ski here would be extremely dangerous. Check in with patrol about current conditions if you’re unsure.
From the east wall, there are much easier options past the 2nd notch, so it is not committing until about halfway down the down-climb.
