Описание: India marks 10 years of the Startup India initiative, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to transform the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Over the past decade, Startup India has emerged as a game changer—fueling innovation, job creation, and economic growth across the nation.

Today, India has over 200,000 DPIIT-recognised startups, generating more than 21 million jobs across 50+ sectors including technology, healthcare, fintech, agritech, drone technology, and deep tech. Notably, nearly 50% of startups are now coming from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, highlighting the spread of entrepreneurship beyond metros.

At a special event in New Delhi, Prime Minister Modi and Union Commerce & Industry Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted key achievements, government support measures such as the ₹10,000 crore Fund of Funds, and India’s growing global startup partnerships with over 100 countries.

From empowering youth and women entrepreneurs to positioning India as a global startup hub, Startup India @10 reflects a decade of inclusive growth, innovation, and global ambition.
