'Multiple claims' in Lisa Wilkinson's memoir have 'accuracy questioned'

Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton says former Today host Lisa Wilkinson’s new book is going to be a “great read” but not for the reason she would think.
Earlier this week, Ms Wilkinson released an extract of her memoir ‘It Wasn’t Meant to Be Like This’ detailing an episode from her feud with co-host Karl Stefanovic where he did not go to her vow renewal ceremony and did not tell her directly.
Ms Wilkinson claims Mr Stefanovic only asked about the ceremony because the cameras were on and she said “why would anybody care about that when it’s news time”.
“Ice cold, or at least it would be if it actually happened,” Mr Houghton said.
“Where did that quote come from? Lisa wrote the book and supposedly quoted herself.”
Mr Houghton said other segments from the book had attracted similar scrutiny and “multiple claims” have been questioned.
“I really hope that isn’t how Lisa has been doing her journalism for all these years,” he said.
