We arrived in Lahore after a wonderful time in Karachi and Hyderabad and were so excited to experience Lahore famous Street Food. Join us as we taste delicious Pakistani Street food in old walled City of Lahore.
We definitely loved tasting some of the most famous Lahore famous Breakfast dishes in the old walled city.


Lahore is the capital and largest city of the Pakistani province of Punjab. It is the second-largest city in Pakistan, after Karachi, and 27th largest in the world, with a population of over 14 million. Lahore is one of Pakistan's major industrial, educational and economic hubs.

Nihari is a stew of the Indian subcontinent, which consists of slow-cooked meat, mainly a shank cut of beef, lamb and mutton, or goat meat, as well as chicken and bone marrow.
Although we have tasted Nihari in India we were excited to taste Lahori Nihari.

Mutton tikki in Lahore is a very famous, traditional street food delicacy. It is a spiced, pan-fried minced mutton patty (keema tikki) typically enjoyed during a heavy traditional breakfast alongside sweet halwa, crispy puris, and chickpea curry (chana).

Lassi is a traditional yogurt-based drink that originated in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent. It is made by blending yogurt or curd with water or milk, and it can be prepared as a sweet or savory beverage.

Halwa puri is a traditional and popular breakfast meal consisting of three main parts: sooji ka halwa (sweet semolina pudding), puri (soft, deep-fried flatbread), and chana masala or aloo tarkari (spicy chickpea or potato curry).
