CT200h Navigation and Infotainment System Upgrade

Описание: My fellow Automotive Fanatics and newly acquainted Lexus CT200h Fanatics, I welcome you to my channel for another DIY!



Today, I will be showing you how to install an Android based Navigation and Infotainment system upgrade into your CT200h. This system was purchased from a manufacture from China and my initial impressions and use are mixed.



To cut right to the chase, here are my 3 top likes/dislikes about the unit:

Likes

large 10.25” widescreen display, mapping looks great on it

android based so you have the potential to download and install different apps
full touchscreen

Dislikes
very expensive
manufacture did not include any directions so it’s not DIY friendly
-buggy and quirky software, some apps work, others do not

Since the manufacture did not provide directions, installation was a challenge. I had to jump back and forth between different sections while removing the unit several times.
