We constructed a full poultry house with four compartments, imagining a perfect cycle — receiving day-old chicks in one room and rotating batches until all compartments were full.But reality taught us what theory couldn’t.Managing one poultry house with multiple batches is extremely difficult for a new farmer. Diseases move fast. Hygiene becomes hard to control. And when we tried it, the system collapsed. From 2,000 birds, we only sold about 500. Disease outbreaks and limited worker skills hit us hard.Failure came. But so did experience.Starting Again — The Right WayInstead of giving up, we changed our approach. We downsized, focused on what we could manage, used experienced workers, and built a structured selling platform.That is when we discovered a powerful truth:“It is better to make your own feed than to depend on feed sellers.”Feed suppliers also want to make profit. If they lack ingredients, they simply remove them — and your birds pay the price.So we learned feed formulation, consulted experts, and started producing our own feed. The birds didn’t hit perfect weights immediately, but we saw improvement, consistency, and lower production costs.Soon, our feed quality attracted other farmers, and a simple solution became a growing ecosystem.Expanding Into Piggery — Because Farming Is a BusinessAs we grew, we noticed another gap — the piggery sector.Many farmers were raising pigs with poor setups, poor breeding practices, and no business structure.
