There came a time in the late 1970s where the North American comic book industry as a whole was in a lot of trouble. There was a lot of sentiment within the industry that comic books were pretty much done. 1978 was a pivotal year in comic books. In this year, I take a look at some of the major events that affected the industry as a whole as well as look at some of the notable comic books that were published that year. A year to remember!
