During a tour of the Lango region, we hoped on an opportunity to explore Anok Island in Lake Kwania.
You will be pleasantly surprised to learn that the Nile River passes through Lake Kwania- a phenomenon marked by distinct water colors for the two water bodies.
A small lake often overshadowed by the larger Lake Kyoga, Kwania is a source of livelihood for numerous families but also a big contributor to fish exports especially for the DRC market.
Here is our very uncanny canoe ride to and from Anok Island, whose soils our feet never touched thanks to the ever-so annoying water weed.
