Navajo diamond stitch blanket
60 x 40
4 skeins each burnt pumpkin, latte, ivory,
3 skeins turquoise

All sc are worked in blo
All dc are made in front loop of stitch in second row from one being worked on.
Cast each row on individually leaving a 2-3 inch tail at the beginning and the end of each row. Make sure each row fringe has a knot to prevent unraveling.
Begin and end the rows with the same number of stitches

Start with turquoise yarn color for Border. Chain 245 and cut 2-3 inch tail of yarn for fringe.

Rows 1 to 5:
Cast on each row individually chain 1, and leave a 2-3 inch tail for fringe. Single crochet (sc) in each stitch across the rows. chain 1 and leave 2-3 inch tail for fringe.

Row 6:
Cast on like above and sc into the first 2 stitches, 1 dc on the end. Then [19 sc, 1 dc] across the row. End with 2 sc. Chain 1, slip knot, leave 2-3 inch tail for fringe.


Burnt Pumpkin yarn color

Row 7:
Cast on like above. Do 3 sc, 1 dc on the end. Then [17 sc, 1 dc, 1 sc, 1 dc] repeat across the row. End with 3 sc
Chain 1, slip knot, leave 2 to 3 inch tail for fringe.

Row 8:
Cast on like above. 4 sc, 1 dc, [15 sc, 1 dc, 3 sc, 1 dc] repeat across the row. End with 4 sc. Chain 1, slip knot, leave 2 to 3 inch tail for fringe.

Row 9:
Cast on like above. 5 sc, 1 dc [13 sc, 1 dc, 5 sc, 1 dc] repeat across the row. End with 5 sc. Chain 1, slip knot, leave 2 to 3 inch tail for fringe.

Latte yarn color

Row 10:
Cast on like above. 6 sc, 1 dc [11 sc, 1 dc, 7 sc, 1 dc] repeat across the row. End with 6 sc. Chain 1, slip knot, leave 2 to 3 inch tail for fringe.

Row 11:
Cast on like above. 7 sc, 1 dc [9 sc, 1 dc, 9 sc, 1 dc] repeat across the row. End with 7 sc. Chain 1, slip knot, leave 2 to 3 inch tail for fringe.

Row 12:
Cast on like above. 8 sc, 1 dc [7 sc, 1 dc, 11 sc, 1 dc] repeat across the row end with 8 sc. Chain 1, slip knot, leave 2 to 3 inch tail for fringe.

Ivory yarn color

Row 13:
Cast on like above. 9 sc, 1 dc [5 sc, 1 dc, 13 sc, 1 dc] repeat across the row. End with 9 sc. Chain 1, slip knot, leave 2 to 3 inch tail for fringe.

Row 14:
Cast on like above. 10 sc, 1 dc [3 sc, 1 dc, 15 sc, 1 dc] repeat across the row. End with 10 sc. Chain 1, slip knot, leave 2 to 3 inch tail for fringe.

Real 15:
Cast on like above. 11 sc, 1 dc [1 sc, 1 dc, 17 sc, 1 dc] repeat across the row. End with 11 sc. Chain 1, slip knot, leave 2 to 3 inch tail for fringe.

Turquoise yarn color

Row 16:
Cast on like above. 12 sc, 1 dc [19 sc, 1 dc] repeat across the row. End with 12 sc. Chain 1, slip knot, leave 2 to 3 inch tail for fringe.

In this order:
Ivory-repeat rows 15, 14, 13,
Latte-repeat rows 12,11,10
Burnt pumpkin-repeat rows 9,8,7
Turquoise-6
Then begin pattern again with row 7 (burnt pumpkin) and continue on Up to row 16.

When Afghan reaches the desired size repeat rows 1-5 after row 6 to complete the pattern
