I was able to visit Masdar Park in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi. The outdoor park is small but there are amenities such as cafes and restaurants that serve local and international cuisine, a play area for children, sports facilities plus the more than 2 kilometers of Al Mamsha Trail for biking, walking and running.
What is also interesting is that the cafes are housed in brightly colored recycled shipping containers that are powered by solar panels. Apart from the free WiFi, visitors can also recharge their smartphones at specially designated solar-powered park benches. The "Tree of Light" is the park's feature design. The sculpture lights up with the lights changing colors with human interaction.
It is time for you to visit the environment-friendly Masdar Park which is located very near the Abu Dhabi airport and Khalifa City A. The park opens from 9 am to 10 pm daily.
