The global launch of the new Redmi Note 12 series, the top device of which is the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, took place very recently, and Xiaomi once again impressed its fans and released another model in this series.
And, by the way, the manufacturer aimed at another audience - people who know how to activate the marauder's card, can list all the Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers for 7 years and are always waiting for the owl from Hogwarts. So welcome - the new Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which became the first smartphone equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo inherited several features from the rest of the models of the recently introduced family. One of them is a screen with a diagonal of 6.67″, a resolution of 2400 x 1080 and with the same technology that is used in the Note 12 Pro+ model. Although in this case it is capable of reaching 1000 nits of peak brightness.
However, the design has changed a bit. On the back there are three cameras located in separate modules surrounded by a patterned ring. The 64-megapixel main camera with support for optical image stabilization is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
This model was the first to enter the market with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, which consists of a "main" ARM Cortex-X2 core capable of reaching a clock frequency of 2.96 GHz, as well as three Cortex-A710 cores capable of reaching a clock frequency of 2.49 GHz, and four low-power Cortex A-510 cores with a clock frequency of up to 1.8 GHz.
Unlike other models of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo series, it can boast of 8/12/16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 3.1 flash memory. Under the hood is a 5000mAh battery with 67W charging support.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is currently only available in China in four different configurations: 8GB/256GB for €268, 12GB/256GB for €294, 12GB/512GB for around €321 and the top-of-the-line 16GB/1TB variant for around for €375. It is not yet known whether the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will ever be released outside of China, but there are rumors that it will appear on the global market under the POCO brand . Maybe as part of the POCO X series.
