Sharee Ferguson is a gifted gospel recording artist whose powerful voice, rich musical heritage, and unwavering faith have shaped a lifetime of ministry through song. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Sharee later migrated to Atlanta, Georgia, where her musical calling continued to flourish. She began singing at the age of eight, and from that early age, it was evident that her voice was a God-given gift destined to inspire and uplift.

Sharee has faithfully served in music ministry across several churches within the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) and beyond. Her ministry roots include Hensley Church of God in Christ and Temple of Faith Church of God, both of Atlanta, Georgia and New Jerusalem COGIC in Virginia Beach, Virginia., where she served under the leadership of Bishop Barnet Thoroughgood, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to the music ministry.

Currently, Sharee serves in the music ministry at her home church, New Life Worship Center, under the leadership of Bishop Carl Vann and Barbara Vann. Her heart for service has also extended to supporting other ministries, including FaithWorld Ministries led by Bishop Ezekiel Williams, and Greater Cathedral, under Pastor Tony Lewis, where she has contributed her vocal gifts to enhance worship experiences.

An accomplished vocalist, Sharee has performed in numerous concerts and vocal recitals throughout her career. Her most recent concert, “Sounds of Praise,” held in October 2023, featured her as the headline artist, marking a significant milestone in her musical journey.

Committed to excellence in her craft, Sharee studied voice under Ron Harris of Williamsburg, Virginia, receiving formal vocal training that expanded her technical skill and artistic range. She possesses the ability to sing in Latin and Italian, further demonstrating her versatility and classical foundation.

As a recording artist, Sharee has released two original singles, both written and arranged by her:

“Yes Lord Forever”

“Overcomer”

Her music reflects her testimony, faith, and deep desire to encourage listeners through messages of hope, perseverance, and praise.

Sharee credits her greatest inspiration to her mother, Betty Willis, and her grandmother, Cleo Willis, whose faith and strength have profoundly shaped her life. Vocally, she admires the artistry and anointing of CeCe Winans and the legendary Patti LaBelle, artists whose excellence and emotional depth continue to inspire her own musical expression.
