Описание: In this month’s video, The Peranakan Association Singapore President, Nyonya Genevieve Peggy Jeffs, is joined by Baba Raymond Wong and Nyonya Stella Wee to share highlights from recent and upcoming TPAS activities, as well as warm festive greetings for the Chinese New Year.

Baba Raymond and Nyonya Stella reflected on the lively Riverside Peranakan Feast at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel on 6 January, where there was a Peranakan cuisine showcase, Kebaya appreciation talk and performances by the Peranakan Voices on the opening night. Shirley Tay also released her first cook book, and guests enjoyed an evening of music and dancing.

Riverside Peranakan Feast will run until 08 February 2026. TPAS members will enjoy a 30% discount, and member-run stalls offering Peranakan and batik items will also be available.

Looking ahead, Nyonya Stella previews the March lineup: on 7 March, Dr. Marc Rerceretnam will give an insightful talk on Christianised Peranakan weddings at the Ixora Room, Peranakan Museum. Members are encouraged to watch for upcoming EDMs and social media updates for full details. On 13 March, TPAS will also participate in the Armenian Street Party. Preparations are already underway for the 2026 Fundraising Gala at Shangri-La in September. We expect a few hundred attendees, and all details, including table bookings, theme, and dress code, will be shared soon via EDM. A special culinary collaboration is planned, bringing together a Malacca chef and the Shangri-La chef to create a memorable dining experience for our guests.
