Discovering how much I enjoyed making and editing videos, trying to replicate what I saw others doing online, and enjoying watching others document dead and dying malls across the US, I decided to give it a go and combine tech I enjoy and documenting my area malls. This was the first ever @DyingRetail video in the fall of 2019 before the term COVID became a two year psychological nightmare.
Improving with each video since, this is sometimes “painful” for me to watch since I was so green trying to put content together.
Video #1 of Dying Retail.
Opened in October of 1989 this mall has struggled the past 5 to 10 years. Bad management, debt and now new owners promising a new concept... Take a tour of the mall as it stands now. My first attempt at documenting a dying mall. Hope to do more as time allows
