How To Remove Desk With Hutch

Описание: This video is a project including office suites that we cleared out with crazy-heavy desks and hutches. On these units we had to pull the desk away from the wall to expose and remove the two oblong metal connectors that hold the hutch to the desk with Philips head screws. They were crazy heavy and two of our guys were able to then lift and remove them. We also removed the doors and shelves to make them lighter. Some smaller units do not have connectors and the hutch can be removed by picking them up or sliding them (carefully to avoid scratches) across the desk. Lightweight assembled desks (IKEA and similar) often have the hutch top connected to the desk by sitting on cam screws that are attached to the desktop. There is usually a cam bolt that must be turned to release the connection. There is often a small triangle on the cam bolt to indicate direction and locked/unlocked position. The hutch top must be lifted straight up to remove it.
