Описание: My project would be to head out to Botswana with the RASC in mid July 2025 for one week following completion of that I would then plan to head north to Zambia for a few days to understand beef production there. The benefits of this project to the students at Home Lacy I hope would be quite broad. I believe a huge benefit to our students at Holme Lacy College is to demonstrate to them that there are opportunities out there that they can work towards. The other benefit is relating to them the findings of beef production on a more global perspective. Many of the students have an interest in the livestock production element of their course and have a keen interest when working with the college’s herd of commercially managed pedigree Herefords. I hope that an investigation in to beef production in very different parts of the world will not only relate to what is done at the college farm or where they may work but to also demonstrate aspects that may be done differently.
