It’s the 2017 Kia Rio SLi reviewed by Jenna. For 2017 we see the Kia Rio get a significant number of updates yet it’s still not considered an all new Rio hatchback and rather just a revamp.
The revamped Kia Rio comes with a 1.4 Litre petrol engine that produces 77kW of power and 133Nm of torque. The fact the automatic only has 4 speeds means this Kia is appropriate for city driving but this leaves the Rio a little gutless for the open roads.
The Kia Rio stacks up as a cost effective choice against similar category small car competitors like the Hyundai i30, the Toyota Corolla and the Mazda 3.
