And it's not surprising.

The idea to start a podcast is a smart one, but the early enthusiasm only gets you so far.

I've been podcasting and live streaming for 5 years now. I've run 6 different shows, and took 2 of those shows past the 50 episodes mark. I've logged over 750 hours of video footage on my own business page on YouTube, and I specialise in helping you get the ideas out of your head, in to video, and out to the WORLD!

Most folks want to 'just get into it', and then realise there's a pile of setup to happen before all of that.. and it quickly becomes a minefield for would-be hosts, who get disillusioned, and walk away.

I'm going to run a mini series for the next few weeks, discussing all of the details of setting up your podcast, walking you through the options, software, hardware, and more importantly, guest management, processes and more.

The aim for these live streams is to get those of you who fancy having a go, off the fence and able to launch, armed with knowledge of WHY podcasts fail, so that you can avoid the pitfalls.

There won't be any technical wizardry, and our aim is to keep it simple, so that you don't feel overwhelmed.

Each week will focus on a different topic, from why you should be podcasting, to the pitfalls and problems, and on to guest management and project management.
