This Valve Cover Mod Changes Everything | Evo 8 Build Part 5

Описание: This week we shift gears a little. It’s not the most glamorous upgrade, but it’s one that makes a big difference in both reliability and how the engine bay looks.

In this episode, we completely redo the Evo 8’s valve cover. Stripping the old paint, drilling and tapping it for threaded fittings to replace the press-ins that kept popping out, and giving it a fresh coat of paint. Once it’s cured and reinstalled, we button everything up with the timing cover, engine mount, and drive belt.

It’s a small step, but one that cleans up the bay and fixes an issue that’s been bothering me for a long time. The car’s finally starting to look complete again and next we move into the fuel system, where the performance side of the build takes over once more.
