Most people would just probably buy a re-man caliper, but unfortunately too may dangerous run ins with re-manned parts has forced me to rebuild these, as well as other failed hydraulics parts on my cars
tips:
12 point 11mm socket aids in removing the caliper bolts holding the halfs together
Most re-build kits dont come with the o-rings for the caliper body half's, so dont ruin them
the outer and inner adjusters are held in simply with snap rings. By now yours will be corroded and you probably cant even see them anymore, but theyre there!
Emergency brake handles dont come out easily, hit them real hard!
there is also a small o-ring under the inner adjuster screw as well as a rubber seal on the parking brake handle. These are superficial and DO NOT hold brake system pressure, they can be replaced with generic parts from the parts store
pistons and caliper bores CANNOT have ANY pitting, scraping or galling; if there is, junk the caliper or find spare parts. This is a braking system and your life depends on these parts working!
Castor grease is the recommended grease for assembling parts
