Via Rail 62 | Toronto - Montreal (Business Class) | Trip Report 2019

Описание: Something a little different this time. I traveled from Toronto to Montreal but this time instead of flying I took the train, something I've always wanted to try. For this trip I decided to treat myself, I usually take economy for the cheaper fairs, but this time I decided to take business class instead and I wasn't disappointed. I got access the the business class lounge at Union Station in Toronto, got to enjoy a nice hot chocolate, and watched videos on my laptop till it was time to board the train.

Got to board the train with the first group which I loved seeing as how long the line was for the economy class. We departed on time and soon upon leaving we were informed that we would be delayed arriving in Montreal due to work on the track in the Kingston area limited the rail traffic to only one track instead of two, so we were delayed 45 minutes witch I didn't mind at all. The first bit of service we got onboard was a warm bagel with butter and orange juice witch was just fantastic. I loved watching the scenery roll by. The highlight of this trip was the lunch that was served. We had a choice of a pasta dish, a beef dish, and a fish dish. I chose the pasta dish and white wine with it and it was delicious, truly top notch.

Unfortunately the five hours flew by too fast and before I knew it we were pulling into the Montreal Dorval station (cause I was catching the via shuttle to Montreal Trudeau Airport for my return flight to Toronto). This was a great trip my hat goes off to the Via Rail staff for making this a journey I won't soon forget.
