I am ready for a new challenge, only been thinking about it for about 25 years.
Over the winter I upgraded my camping gear and I just sold the R-Pod.
In a couple of days I will jump onto Amtrak and head for Harpers Ferry, WV from Crawfordsville, IN via Chicago for a NOBO (NOrth BOund) Flip-flop on the Appalachian Trail (2194.3 miles).
From Harpers Ferry I will walk North to Mount Katahdin in Maine then flip back down via planes/trains/automobiles to Harpers Ferry then walk South to Springer Mountain in Georgia.
