Royale Energy (ROYL) shares are higher Wednesday on news the company closed a sale of assets located in Kern County California to a NYSE-listed company. The sale includes an undisclosed acreage position together with several infrastructure assets.
Royale Energy has retained an overriding royalty on the acreage, which is prospective for the Monterey Shale. Shares of the company are up 7.96%, or $0.53, to $7.19.
