Puff Pastry Apple Donuts
INGREDIENTS
-1 sheet puff pastry
-2 medium/large apples
Mānuka honey
1 egg
1 tsp water
Powdered sugar
Cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Cut pastry into 18 thin strips and freeze briefly.
Slice apples and core the centers.
Wrap 2–3 strips of pastry around each apple slice.
Place on a baking tray with parchment paper. Whisk together water and egg to make an egg wash and brush dough.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with honey and bake until golden.
Dust with powdered sugar.
