How To Manually Mod Your BattleTech Game - 2021 Version

Mods are add-ons developed by the BattleTech community that extend the base game to include new 'Mechs, new worlds, and new missions.

This is a follow-on to the video I produced earlier this year (2021) about using the BattleTech Mod Manager to install mods. If you are having problems with the BTMM or can't get the installs to work correctly, you may need to install your mods manually.

One main note to remember is that if you install ModTek manually, you WILL need to make sure you update it regularly. I strongly recommend creating a bookmark for the ModTek site to download updates. You will also have to install them manually, but if you follow the steps in the video, you'll know how to do that.
