We (Still) Want Everything | Red May 2021

Описание: 1969. A young worker from the South arrives at Fiat’s Mirafiori factory in Turin. The work sucks. The bosses withhold his wages. His complexion begins to fade from the fourteen-hour workdays. Result: a wave of continuous strikes shut down the factory. Barricades line the roads, tear gas wafts into private homes, and the slogan “We Want Everything” is ringing through the streets. Nanni Balestrini’s novel of Italy’s ‘Hot Autumn’ and its decade of revolt has lost none of its edge.
