Valentine's Day Water Marble with Heart Accents | DIY Nail Art Tutorial

The bit of black is just some sticky residue from the tape - wiped off easily and I'd have done it on camera but didn't notice it while I was recording.

As usual, time flies so I'm having to pick & choose from the ideas I had for Valentine's Day, and this is the one I absolutely wanted to be sure I did. I hope you guys like it =)

►Nail polish and products used◄
-Base coat (of your choice)
-Orly - Haute Red: http://amzn.to/1NqLyvC

-Orly - White Tips: http://amzn.to/1KbeK7h
-Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat: http://amzn.to/1K9HQUE
-5 oz paper cup: http://amzn.to/1MFYfk5
-Room temperature filtered water
-Orange stick (or your choice of tool): http://amzn.to/1U20nmV
-(Optional) Liquid Latex: http://amzn.to/1JsI9JL or Tape: http://amzn.to/1MFXQyc
-Heart Stencils (optional)

►Step-by-Step◄
-Start out with clean, dry nails and apply a base coat
-Use White Tips as your base color
-Optional - prep your nails with tape to keep the excess polish of of your skin
-Optional - cut out heart "stencils" from tape and apply to accent nails
-In a cup of room temperature, filtered water create a bullseye using all 3 colors
-Draw in your design with the tip of your orange stick
-Slowly dip in your nail(s)
-Clear any excess polish off of the surface
-Slowly pull out your nail(s)
-Remove the tape & stencils, clean up around your cuticles
-Finish with a top coat!
