Recorded Nov. 14th 2009, I had the opportunity to fly with Dr. Wayne Clark in his PZL-WSK-Mielec TS-11 ISKRA JET Manufactured in 1972 N902BB (Wild Blue Aviation LLC) out of Brown Field Airport, San Diego, CA.
A Huge Thank You to Dr. Wayne Clark for my flight in his beautiful Jet & my wife Gail Whisenant for shooting all the video footage shot from the ground.
PZL TS-Iskra (English: Spark) Polish Air Force Jet Trainer for Poland & India. TS (Tadeusz Soltyk) main designer. WSK-PZL-Mielec is a Polish Aerospace Manufacturer based in Mielic Poland, PZL (Panstwowe Zaklady Lotnicze) WSK (Wytwornia Sprzetu Komunikacyjnego) 424 TS-11's were built by 1987, in 2002 Poland still had 110 TS-11's.
This TS-11 was delivered to the Polish Air Force with 4 underwing pylons to carry weapons & 23mm cannon in the nose, but was used as a private transport Aircraft for a Polish Air Force Base Commander.
Note: at the time of my Flight only ten TS-11'S Flying in the USA
The Iskra was withdrawn from service on Dec. 16, 2004
