Our route covers most of all of Münster’s most important Christmas markets along the way, like for example the Prinzipalmarkt, and ends at the Aegidiimarkt.

Experience the magic of the christmas season with beautiful decorations, glowing Christmas lights, and the inviting aromas of handmade treats and traditional winter foods. With around 300 fairytale-style stalls spread across five major Christmas markets, Münster’s annual Christmas market is a true highlight and a must-visit during the holiday season.

The largest and oldest market is located around the historic Town Hall. In its charming courtyard, you’ll find a wide selection of jewelry, handcrafted art, festive accessories, and two merry-go-rounds for children, alongside countless sweet and delicious snacks for visitors of all ages.

Münster is an independent city in North Rhine-Westphalia, located in the northern part of the state and widely regarded as the cultural heart of the Westphalia region. It is also the capital of the Münsterland administrative district. Historically, Münster was the site of the Anabaptist rebellion during the Protestant Reformation. Today, it is best known as the bicycle capital of Germany.
