This past weekend, the 4th Annual Black Ambition Demo Day, where over 250 guests gathered to celebrate the brilliance of Black and Hispanic entrepreneurs. With the generous support of Visa, Comcast, Lennar Foundation, Louis Vuitton, and Adidas, we awarded over $2.7 million to 30 trailblazing founders across AI, Consumer Products and Services, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, and Tech.
The $1 Million grand prize went to Dr. Monica Williams and Dana Roberts, Co-Founders of RedDrop, a brand of period kits empowering and supporting young girls. Second place went to Thomas Fields, Founder of GRIND, a sports technology company inspiring inner-city youth to pursue careers in engineering and technology.
