The Forgotten Doll

Описание: "Don’t open that box!" Liam's heart pounded as his friend Mason pried open the dusty, forbidden chest in the attic. Inside, they found an old, cracked porcelain doll with eyes too lifelike to ignore. Mason laughed off Liam’s warning, taking the doll out and placing it on a shelf. That night, Liam was jolted awake by a chilling whisper, "Come play with me." He glanced over at Mason, still asleep. The doll was nowhere to be seen. A cold sweat dripped down his back as tiny footsteps echoed down the hallway. Gathering the courage, he followed the sounds to the living room. There, illuminated by the moonlight, was the doll. Its eyes glowed, and it whispered again, "Come play with me." Frozen with fear, Liam watched as the doll’s head slowly turned to face him. It smiled, revealing sharp, porcelain teeth. Liam screamed, waking Mason, who ran to his side. But the doll was gone. All that remained were tiny footprints leading out the door and a faint echo of laughter. Mason and Liam never spoke of that night again, but every so often, they'd hear a whisper in the darkness, "Come play with me."
