Описание: This is the story of how Stanley Park came to be. It features Captain Vancouver's discovery of Vancouver and early photos of the City and Park. Vancouver's first Mayor is virtually forgotten as the man who got the ball rolling to create the park on May 12, 1886. The Park is named after the Governor General of Canada, Lord Stanley. He also holds the distinction of being honoured by the NHL when their highest trophy was named the "Stanley Cup". Duration: 04:53
