Hi all!
This is my original “Cancellation of Taylor Swift” video that launched my career on the clock app. The central argument is pretty simple: the version of 2016 that’s now widely accepted depends heavily on people not remembering what actually happened. What we now call Taylor Swift’s “cancellation” was really the result of a series of very public missteps that slowly turned sentiment against her. So when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West exposed what was framed as a lie, the cultural ground had already been fully prepared for her downfall.
This video is uploaded here in its original form. Fair warning: this was early in my content journey, so there are some low-key boomer vibes. 😆 That said, many of you asked to see the series preserved as-is, so I’m honoring the archive.
