What Robben Ford plays on the Altered Dominant chord in "Help The Poor" is simply magical. He uses the Altered Scale to great effect in this solo. In this video, I'll show you the Altered Scale, explain the theory behind it, and demonstrate some licks using the scale that you can incorporate immediately into your playing.
