So with my last project wrapping up, I wanted to dive into something new—something that really hits that creepy, unsettling vibe I’ve always loved. I’ve always been fascinated with those VHS-style horror tapes, found footage, and the kind of lost media that just sticks with you. That feeling of “is this real, or am I just imagining things?” It’s such a unique type of horror, and I wanted to bring that into Minecraft again, but this time with a different twist.

This modpack focuses on the Big Bad Wolf—but not in the fairytale sense you grew up with. This isn’t some silly children’s story. This is a presence. A stalker. A predator. It’s not just about fighting or surviving—it’s about the feeling of being hunted, the tension of knowing something’s out there, watching you, waiting for the right moment.

I wanted to capture that raw, human feeling of fear—the way your chest tightens when you’re alone in the woods, the way your mind plays tricks on you when you hear footsteps behind you, and the way silence can feel louder than any scream. That’s what the Big Bad Wolf is here: a reminder that sometimes the scariest monsters are the ones that wait in the dark, smiling, patient, knowing you’ll slip up eventually.

This is a long-form horror experience, more like a VHS horror film than just a Minecraft modpack. Take your time with it, let yourself sink into the atmosphere, and don’t rush. The Wolf wants you to think it’s gone. That’s when it’s closest.
