A bloach leader has written an open letter to Indian Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar. According to the letter, if Baloch defense and freedom forces continue to be ignored and left unsupported, China may station its troops in the region—without the consent of the Baloch people. Such a move, he argues, would pose a serious threat not only to Balochistan but also to India’s strategic interests. The core reason behind China’s interest is the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a massive infrastructure project connecting China’s Xinjiang region to Pakistan’s Gwadar Port in Balochistan.
