Описание: Milling a gear on an 80 years old Denbigh miller with a Myford badged Vertex dividing head. The arbor was machined on Myford Super 7 before the chuck was transferred to the dividing head. Gear blank was 2.900" diameter in SG iron, face width is 0.625" to match an Eaton Hydrostatic Drive output pinion. According to my calculations the safe power capacity is 3.9 hp at the max revs available. The Eaton has a max continuous output of 2.5 hp so it should be fine. This is gear number two of three of this 10DP train: - 37T, 27T and 35T driven by the Eaton 12T steel pinion. The film was made with a mobile, not easy holding the phone whilst feeding the table with the other hand.
