সুপ্রিম কোর্ট পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ভোটার তালিকার SIR -নিয়ে নয়া নির্দেশের পরেও কি রাজ্যবাসী পুরোপুরি নিশ্চিন্ত হতে পারবেন? লজিক্যাল ডিসক্রিপেন্সির কথা বলে যে সব ভোটারদের নাম বাদ দিতে চাইছে নির্বাচন কমিশন , তাঁরা কি পারবেন তাঁদের ভোটাধিকার রক্ষা করতে? এই বিপুল সংখ্যক মানুষের নথি এত অল্প সময়ে খতিয়ে দেখা কি সম্ভব বিচার বিভাগের পক্ষে? যাদের নথি নেই তাদের কী পদ্ধতিতে যাচাই করা হবে ? এর মধ্যে আবার নিত্য নতুন আইন নিয়ে আসছে নির্বাচন কমিশন? সব মিলিয়ে এক চূড়ান্ত অস্বচ্ছ প্রক্রিয়ার মধ্যে কি পড়তে হচ্ছে বাংলার সাধারণ মানুষকে?
Will the people of the state be completely reassured after the Supreme Court's new order on the SIR of the voter list of West Bengal? Will the Election Commission be able to protect the voting rights of all the voters whose names are being excluded due to logical discrepancies? Is it possible for the judiciary to verify the documents of such a large number of people in such a short time? In what way will those who do not have documents be verified? In the meantime, the Election Commission is constantly bringing new laws? All in all, are the common people of Bengal having to go through an extremely non transparent process?
