The Veteran's Cup is a competition for the older Piston Cup Cars that are retired from the full time Next Gen Piston Cup Schedule.

Lightning McQueen is the only full time driver from the Next Gen Piston Cup taking part in the Veteran's Cup. He has won the Veteran's Cup twice before, Season one and Season two.

Many Piston Cup Champions are taking part in the Veterans Cups including: Strip Weathers (7 Time Champ), Chick Hicks, Ryan Shields, Darren Leadfoot and many others.

In season two Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson took part in the Veterans Cup.

The Piston Cup is a fictional racing trophy that is featured in the Pixar animated film "Cars." The Piston Cup is the most prestigious award in the world of Cars racing, and it is awarded to the winner of the annual Piston Cup Championship race.
