March 12, 2022, marked the grand opening and unveiling of Freedom Plaza in downtown Twentynine Palms, and boy did we celebrate in style! Enjoy the highlights of this momentous day and our sunrise to sundown celebration, presented by Visit 29 Palms and hosted by Rediscover 29.
A decade in the making, this multi-use facility is an integral part of the City of Twentynine Palms' downtown revitalization project, formerly known as Project Phoenix. The site features a beautiful outdoor event space and stage, gym and multipurpose building, culinary arts kitchen, and soon to open, brand new Joshua Tree National Park Visitor and Cultural Center!
