How Society Doomed 90s Kids | Generation Y | Generation X

Описание: To whom it may concern, the views expressed in this video are not just limited to the plight of kids whose formative years happened in the 90s. Many from previous generations have expressed profoundly relatable sentiments.

To be crystal, I was born in the mid 80s, so depending on your source, I would be classified as either Generation Y or early Millennial; I personally don’t identify with the prototypical Millenials who were breastfed by smart devices. Case in point, I got AOL 3.0 56K dial-up internet in the sixth grade, Motorola beepers/pagers were still en vogue during my high school years, and I didn’t get my first phone (Sony Ericsson) until I was halfway through college. If that’s a millennial by your definition, I don’t know what you would call the kids who were essentially parented by Siri.

Such is why I consider myself more of a “90s Kid.” I was too young to experience Gen X, and I’m too old to give a deuce about Spongebob. So when I say “90s Kid,” I don’t literally mean kids who were born in the 90s. Obviously if you’re born in the 90s, you’ll probably have zero recollection of the 90s decade, because you don’t really get to experience “cultural” milieu in your first years of life.
