Day 1 of 7
January 17, 2026.
We woke up around 7 AM and left the house around 9 AM to head to Miami. We got to the hotel to park about 12:15 PM. Just to find out that the shuttle runs every two hours and it last departed at noon. So we got an Uber to the airport. It was such a quick and smooth process, so we had plenty of time to wait. Our flight left on time around 4:30 PM, the flight duration was two hours. There is a time change in Merida Mexico, so we ended up landing at 5:30 PM. We picked up our car rental and went to the grocery store. We got some drinks and dinner, then headed to our Airbnb to check it out, cook dinner, and swim.
